Protect eyes from computer screen in Windows 10

The blue light coming out of display monitor can be harmful to your eyes. When using the monitor during night time or in a dark room, the light coming out of monitor is has straining effect on eyes.

This is where Microsoft Windows 10 night light feature comes handy. Turning on the Night light will show warmer color which lowers the intensity of blue light coming out of the monitor. The warm color reduces the eye strain.

Lowering the Brightness level of the monitor is useful in reducing the eye strain. Keeping the monitor brightness too high stresses the eye. Keeping the monitor brightness too low makes it difficult to see the content of the screen. Set the monitor brightness to match the surroundings.

Computer Screen Background

Don't keep computer screen such that windows becomes the background of the computer monitor. The sunlight coming from the window make it difficult for eyes to recognize whats on the screen.

Its better use wall as background on the computer screen. The room should be curtained so that direct sunlight does not enter the room.
